LEC Partner Distrix Networks Returns to IoT World Following Innovation of Things Award Win and Successful Year

Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) networking software company, Distrix Networks, will be returning to the IoT World Show in Santa Clara May 16-18, 2017 to share insights and learnings after a year of successful partnerships following their 2016 Project Kairos Innovation of Things award win. Judged by an elite panel of industry leaders and Silicon Valley investors, Distrix was named the most innovative and valued company of over 100 competing entrants. Distrix CEO Eric Winsborrow will be making a keynote address on May 16 to kick-off the Project Kairos event, and will be part of the judging panel for this year's startup pitch competition.

Distrix Networks' Gateway™ SDN software installs on existing legacy and next generation industrial and IT equipment to solve the fundamental barriers to secure and cost-effective adoption of the Industrial Internet. Distrix offers a secure and resilient alternative to costly legacy equipment upgrades to enable IP compatibility and complex firewall and VPN programming, enabling customers and hardware providers to achieve the operational and financial benefits of real-time remote system monitoring, predictive maintenance and process automation, immediately and at a fraction of the cost.

"Our disruptive approach to overcoming the critical challenges holding back Industrial IoT adoption allowed us to stand out in the 2016 IoT World Project Kairos competition," says Eric Winsborrow, CEO, Distrix Networks. "Over the past year, since winning the Innovation of Things award, we have secured significant partnership deals and are thrilled to be returning to the IoT World Show in a mentorship role, to share our story and learnings with other companies looking to create value for customers and investors."

Distrix Networks has recently signed partnerships with several major industrial control OEMs, system integrators, and service providers, some of which were the result of meetings at IoT World.

"IoT World and Project Kairos have provided Distrix Networks with the unique opportunity to meet a number of new partners and investors, and gain the kind of validation and exposure that startups dream of," says Eric Winsborrow, CEO, Distrix Networks. "As we seek to secure new investors and partners at this year's IoT World, we are looking forward to helping other startups achieve similar success."

The Distrix Networks booth will be located at booth #1346 in the main Exhibit Hall. Partners and investors interested in meeting with Distrix should come by the booth for a demonstration, or reach out to info@distrix.com to set up meetings in advance.
