We have returned from last week’s Louisiana Rural Water Association Annual Conference. The LEC team members who were lucky enough to journey to Lake Charles for the 2018 event are pleased to share their top three takeaways.
Takeaway #1.) Show attendees will slow down for a selfie.
We brought along our festive “selfie frame” to this year’s LRWA show.
Visitors to the LEC booth were all too happy to smile for a snap in exchange for an LEC backscratcher, our little way of saying “we’ve got your back.”
Check out those smiles in our South Louisiana selfies:
Takeaway #2.) July in Lake Charles is next-level hot.
Last week’s heat wave sent temps skyrocketing, so we opted to skip the sweat by hanging out near the water...
...near the water in LEC’s iQ Web SCADA™ water demo in booth #53, that is.
We kept our cool by educating attendees on how LEC’s multi‐level, affordable, end‐to‐end IIoT technology upgrade solutions (designed to address individual needs) are helping water and wastewater systems achieve operational cost savings.

Takeaway #3.) Discussing best practices for addressing monitoring and control challenges for water/wastewater systems is FUN!
LEC’s Justin Hogue presented four training sessions during this year’s event. The LEC team left Lake Charles last week impressed by the interest, interaction and knowledge exchange that took place during each of Justin’s four classes. Louisiana Rural Water Conference attendees really know their stuff!
Thank you to the Louisiana Rural Water Association team for allowing LEC to be a part of this hugely rewarding experience.
We look forward to staying connected and to returning to Lake Charles in 2019!
