LEC’s Justin Hogue Named 2018 Mississippi Top in Tech Leader
LEC Vice President of Business Development, Justin Hogue, is one of 27 public and private sector individuals to receive the Mississippi Business Journal’s 2018 Top in Tech Award.
A panel of judges from the state's largest business publication selected Hogue and 26 other individuals from various industry sectors, such as government, education, healthcare and telecommunications, as award recipients based on their contributions in technology innovation and advancement.
"All of our honorees are dedicated to using technology to improve our quality of life and deliver the products and services that consumers and businesses rely on to drive our state's economy into the future," said Mississippi Business Journal Publisher Alan Turner.
Hogue and the other winners were honored for their leadership in helping transform the State’s economy through technology innovation during a May 31 awards luncheon, attended by over 100 guests, at the Old Capitol Inn in Jackson.
“I am extremely honored to be included in this group of impressive technology leaders from all over the state,” said Hogue. "This award belongs to the entire LEC team for their dedication and contributions in helping move Mississippi, and other private and public organizations abroad, forward in technology innovation."
Hogue said this recognition confirms LEC’s standing as a proven market leader in industrial automation control engineering and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) enablement. “It shows that LEC’s continued investment in new, innovative IIoT technologies is making an impact.”
